Frequently asked questions
Embroidery VS Print
We are happy to advise on each order! When it comes to customizing garments, both embroidery and DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing offer great results—but they serve different purposes. Here’s a simple breakdown to help you choose the right option:
Embroidery uses stitched thread to create your design directly onto the fabric.
Best for:
- Workwear, uniforms, and corporate clothing
- Polo shirts, hats, jackets
- Simple logos and text
Pros:
- Premium, high-end look
- Extremely durable (won’t fade or peel)
- Professional finish
Considerations:
- Not ideal for very detailed or large designs
- Limited color blending (thread-based)
DTF printing transfers a printed design onto fabric using heat.
Best for:
- T-shirts, hoodies, and casual wear
- Detailed, colourful designs
- Photographic or complex artwork
Pros:
- Unlimited colours and fine detail
- Great for large designs
- Soft feel on garments
Considerations:
- Not as textured or “premium” as embroidery
- Slightly less durable over long-term heavy use
🔍 Which Should You Choose?
- Go for embroidery if you want a durable, professional, stitched finish—perfect for branding and uniforms.
- Choose DTF printing if your design is bold, colourful, or highly detailed.
